This was actually an event on April 2016, but i have no time to upload but until today. An annual event at the Japanese Garden with all the Japanese activities makes you located at Asian.
We arrived there early in the morning wish to enjoy the day activities to the max, wow, there were many peoples queued up at the lines before us. We are LATE!! Well, the crowds were getting packed while waiting the event to start. So we were hanging at the roadside and enjoying the sunny breeze day. Of course never forget to take the selfie for the love bird 😛
After 45 minutes of the waiting, we finally get into the garden. There were many food trucks selling Japanese food and some local American food to serve the hungry visitors. We didn’t go direct to the food but walk around at the garden to enjoy some great scenery.. that’s it too pretty at the surrounding. It is so peaceful, quiet and relaxing walking by the lakes.
Stomach Gruu~ at around 1pm, we found a great lunch place selling the Japanese Bento set. Hubby ordered pork chop bento while i still prefer my Chicken fillet bento. Both are equally yummy with the side dishes, dumplings are always our all time favorite!
We went into the Morikami Museum and watched the traditional Geisha dance and show, and understand how the local Japanese life in their model house and kitchen, train station system and so forth. We acted as the student in the classroom too haha!! Look at those photos, it was funny!
The day was hot and we never forget to cool down ourselves with the cooling mochi ice-cream… oh so so so yum.. i will definitely miss this dessert again. Wonder where can i buy this? any clues?
