LCHF Indian Butter Chicken

Thanks for the sponsorship of the cooking paste by one of the supplier. So as a return token, i made this Indian Butter Chicken by using the super yummy paste. Based on the original recipe, i have to use tomato puree, and yogurt to complete the cooking. However, i usually try to change some ingredients to make it my very own version recipe!

LCHF Indian Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

Chicken cuts with skin  – 1 lb

Indian Butter Chicken Paste – 1/2 pack

Fresh Basil – 5g

Tomatoes – 2 pcs (cut into 8 pcs)

Purple onion – 1/2 pcs (cut into slices)

Heavy Cream – 1 cup

Coconut Oil – 2 tbsp

  1. Heat up the cooking pot with coconut oil
  2. Add in the purple onion slices, stir fry until fragrance
  3. Add in tomatoes, turn to low heat, slowly sauteed it for 5 minutes
  4. Add in chicken cuts, turn to high heat, quick stir fry
  5. Add in the Indian Butter Chicken paste, mixed well with the chicken
  6. Turn to low heat, sauteed for 15 minutes, cover the cooking pot with lid
  7. Add in the heavy cream continue to sauteed until the chicken is soften
  8. Add in the fresh basil leafs, mixed well with the chicken
  9. Ready to serve!
